The Arkansas Department of Human Services in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Education is providing summer food benefits (S-EBT) to certain Arkansas households.
These benefits are designed to help families buy food and provide meals for children during the summer and will be available on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card which can be used similar to SNAP benefits. Each approved child will receive a one-time issuance of $120 for the summer of 2024. A S-EBT card will be issued for each qualifying child.
To apply, please visit: ar.gov/summerebt or download the application HERE.
The students who will automatically receive Summer EBT benefits are:
Students classified as Homeless, Runaway, Migrant or Foster or
Students that are on the Direct Certification list (students that receive EBT)
Eligible students NOT on the lists above will NEED TO APPLY for Summer EBT.
While using the tool at the bottom of the Summer EBT site, select "Yes, all kids at this school receive this automatically" then answer the remaining questions to see if your student is eligible and apply!!
If you need assistance with the application, please contact Sarah Reynolds at 870-572-7294 ext 4728.
