Volleyball practice begins this Monday, July 10. Jr High practice is 9:00-11:00. Jr High volleyball practice time will be adjusted to accommodate cheer camp. Coach Carpino will give players that information on Monday. Sr High practice is 12:00-2:00. Players need to report to the main gym. Please reach out to Coach Carpino if you have any questions.
Summer Credit Recovery for students in 10th-12th grade will begin July 17th. Students who are eligible for credit recovery received an email from Mr. Carpino with more information. Students, please check your school email. Parents of students that are eligible for credit recovery should have received a text from Mr. Carpino with more information. If you have questions, please contact the high school office.
Barton Bears Football will have a mandatory parent meeting tomorrow, June 22, at 6:00 p.m. in the Kirkland Facility. This is for all upcoming 7th-12th grade football players or for students interested in playing football. All players must have at least 1 guardian present.
There is also a Lady Bears Basketball Meeting tomorrow, June 22, at 3:00 in the HS Gym. The meeting is for any girl entering the 7th-12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year. Parents are encouraged to attend the basketball meeting. Go Bears! 🐻

Report cards can be picked up tomorrow, Thursday, June 1st, 8:00 to 3:00 in the building offices. Report cards will not be mailed.

Barton Kindergarten Round-up is tomorrow, 5/23/23 from 8:30 to 3:00 in the Kindergarten Building. Your child must be 5 years old on or before August 1st in order to register for Kindergarten.

Birth certificate
Social security card
Shot record
Physical (within last 2 years)
Copy of 2 utility bills reflecting a parent's service address within the Barton School District (Ex: water bill, electric bill, gas bill)
Phillips County Health Department will be set up to assist parents with shot records and forms to request birth certificates.

Barton Elementary May Day is tomorrow, Friday, May 12th, 9:30 to 11:30 on Frank McClellan Field. Parents and other guests may purchase an armband at the gate. There will be a concession stand if you want to buy snacks or drinks. Concessions are not included with the arm band and is cash only. A sack lunch will be provided for each student at 11:00. If it rains, May Day will be moved to the indoor facility. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day!

Barton High School 2023 Graduation is tonight, May 8th, at 7:00 at Lily Peter Auditorium. Tickets are required to enter. We ask that no gifts, balloons, or any noise makers be brought into the auditorium. Congratulations Class of 2023! 🐻👩🎓

BHS Athletic Banquet is also tomorrow, May 4th at 5:30 p.m. in the Kirkland Facility. All 7th-12th grade athletes and their parents/supporters are invited to attend. If you purchased a ticket in advance, dinner will be provided. Some plates will be available to buy at the banquet. Parents and supporters are still welcomed to attend the banquet without a ticket.

Unfortunately, due to the threat of rain on Friday morning, Barton Elementary will be rescheduling May Day for Friday, May 12 at 9:30. If it rains on that day, all activities will be moved to the indoor practice facility. Thank you for supporting our school! 🐻
Tomorrow, April 28th, is the last day to purchase tickets for the Athletic Banquet. We have to have a head count by the end of the day tomorrow!!! The 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 yearbook will be combined into one yearbook due to COVID-19. Yearbooks will be available for those who purchased in advance on July 10th in the Elementary office. Pick up from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We apologize for the delay in production and are glad to finally have a date set for pick up! Reminders will be sent out closer to time.
