BSD will have Parent/Teacher conferences tomorrow, March 17th from 2:30 to 6:30. School will dismiss at 1:30 tomorrow and Friday, March 18th. Kindergarten registration packets will be available during the conferences. Spring Break is Monday, March 21st, through Friday, March 25th. Classes will resume on Monday, March 28th.

All baseball and softball games scheduled for today, March 8th, have been canceled due to inclement weather. Tomorrow, March 9th, will begin 3rd-6th grade NWEA testing. Please make sure your student's Chromebook is charged for testing tomorrow and Thursday.

Barton School District is starting new attendance alert messages tomorrow, February 22nd. At approximately 9:45 a.m. each school day, an automated message will go out to parents whose child has been marked absent for the day. We hope everyone has enjoyed their long weekend! Barton School District is hosting Family STEAM Night, tomorrow, February 17th from 4:30 to 6:30 in the Kirkland Facility. There will be many activities and free chili for everyone! School will be closed Friday, February 18th, through Monday, February 21st, for winter break/Presidents' Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 22nd. Also, Barton Elementary has a number of coats that have been left in the building. Please stop by the office to claim your child’s coat. These are really nice coats and we have more cold weather days before the weather changes.
