Barton athletic bus was involved in an accident this afternoon. All students have been checked out by paramedics and everyone is okay. The student athletes are on another bus in route to Monette to participate in the 1st round of Regional Basketball.

2011 Barton Graduate, Dr. Jamarcus Brider, appeared on the national CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell last night, 2/16/23. Dr. Brider is a third year resident at Franciscan Health in Olympia Fields, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He was part of an interview on disparities in heart disease risk and care. We are so proud to call Dr. Brider a Barton Bear! 🤩🐻

💕The Jr. Class will be selling Valograms to help raise money for this year's Prom. Sales will begin on Monday, Feb. 6th and run through Fri., Feb 10th. The cost of each Valogram is $1.00. Elementary students can get forms from their teacher and high school students can order from their English teachers. Please help our Juniors raise money for Prom!

🏀Bears vs Des Arc make-up basketball has been rescheduled for Friday, 2/10/23 at 5:00. It will be half of the Sr. Girls game and the Sr. Boys game.
The Barton Bear family has lost a true Legend in Joe Tom Cunningham. He was the voice of the Barton Bears for many years! His support in the school and community will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
